How to rent and unlock a Pelican Lockers locker.
Renting a locker
- Open the app and sign in with your phone number. We text you a 6-digit code — enter it to log in.
- You must be near the lockers to rent, pay and open.
- Locker are near the main elevators, choose a locker size, then choose how long you want it.
- Tap Pay and enter your card details. You'll see the exact amount before you confirm.
- Once payment goes through, the app shows you which locker number will automatically open.
Unlocking your locker
- Walk up to your assigned locker — within a few feet of the locker bank.
- Make sure Bluetooth is on. The app uses Bluetooth (not Wi-Fi) to talk to the locker hardware.
- Tap Open in the app. You'll hear a click and the door is unlocked for a few seconds. Don't forget to close it
- To open the locker again later, just tap Open and Keep again from the same screen. As long as your rental is active, it stays paired to your phone.
- When you're done with your rental, tap Open and End in the app. You'll hear a click and the door is unlocked one last time. Don't forget to close it
Bluetooth not working?
- Move closer. You need to be within ~10 feet (3 meters) of the locker. Walls and metal surfaces shorten the range.
- Toggle Bluetooth off and on in your phone settings.
- Force-close the app and reopen it.
- Restart your phone if the above don't work — Bluetooth stacks occasionally need a reset.

Extending your rental
If your time is running out, tap Extend 2 hours on the active rental screen. Extension can be done while you're away. You'll be charged the standard 2-hour rate and your countdown updates immediately. You can extend any time before your rental expires.
What happens when my rental ends?
- If you retrieve your belongings before the end time, please use Open and End so that locker is made available to the next guest.
- If you stay past the end time, the app shows an overage charge calculated at the per-hour rate. Pay it from the app to unlock the locker one last time.
Important rules
- No overnight storage. All lockers are cleared each morning by resort staff. Make sure to retrieve your belongings before the end of the day.
- Forgotten items. Items left in lockers — at end of rental, after expiry, or during the morning clearing — are not stored or shipped. We are not responsible for lost or forgotten belongings.
- No prohibited items. No weapons, hazardous materials, perishables, live animals, or anything illegal. Full list in the Terms of Service.
Refunds
Successful rentals are non-refundable except where required by law. If a locker fails to open due to a hardware fault on our end, email [email protected] with your locker number, phone number used for login and time; we'll investigate.
